A group of travellers in South Africa had their belongings stolen at gun point, including passports and travel documents. To leave the country immediately, secure journey management services were required to take them to their home nation Consulate in Cape Town. The travellers were under critical time constraints to get to their appointment, which if missed could delay departure by a week. Our security driver, vehicle and close protection officers were able to reassure the traumatised travellers and move them securely to their appointment, with two hours to spare.
Comprehensive security services for a visit by senior NGO executives to two destinations in central Africa. The visit included high-risk destinations and a tight schedule that needed a high level of logistical support. Protection and intelligence monitoring services were provided, plus advance planning, local intelligence monitoring and low profile close protection.
As a ‘severe’ risk rated country, all movements in Iraq need to be carefully managed and planned. An armoured vehicle with armed guards and escort enabled the safe journey to the airport for evacuation. In support of travel security we produced risk assessments, country intelligence, journey management planning and continuous monitoring.
Two international contractors were caught up in deadly clashes between rebel and government troops, both sustained life threatening injuries; multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, with a collapsed lung and multiple shots to the leg, both with the onset of septicaemia. With airports and borders closed, the two injured victims were moved by vehicle with armed security, to our carefully selected remote landing site where the medical helicopter was waiting with two doctors to medevac to a selected hospital in Kampala, Uganda.
