Solace Global Maritime Protect Central American Port
Solace Global Maritime Protect Central American Port
Project Overview
Solace Global Maritime were tasked with creating a full port facility risk management plan for a privately operated port in Central America. The port was facing issues with incursions by small local vessels, which meant port operations were unable to continue. A team flew out to conduct a full survey, implement the plan and undertake training with employees at the port.
Solace Global Maritime’s Role in Protecting the Port
Our experienced maritime risk management team meticulously planned and executed the necessary protective measures to mitigate risks which could ensure uninterrupted operations.
Solace Global Maritime’s Service Offering
To maintain the safety and security of the port, Solace Global Maritime deployed an 8-man risk management team and relevant security equipment for 24 hour port facility protection. The deployment of a team ensured rapid response capabilities, allowing us to promptly address any potential threat vessels. With strict adherence to QSHE protocols and our own risk management strategy, a plan was created for port protection, and our in-country team worked with employees at the port on a strategy for ongoing protection and training in relevant techniques / use of equipment for doing so.
